MAY 2007
PCDA President S.G. Gillen and Color Guard Art Carrillo presents US and AZ flags to Pinal County Sheriff Chris Vasquez for the PCSO Color Guard
In August 2007 the PCDA presented $500.00 to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office to startup a Boy Scout Law Enforcement Explorer Post.

These moneys went into the newly incorporated PCSO Justice Foundation account.
On September 19, 2007 an amendment to A.R.S. § 38-1101 goes into effect.  You will recall that A.R.S. § 38-1101 guarantees law enforcement officers the right to have a representative present during I/A interviews along with a host of other rights.

The new amendment requires departments, prior to the interview, to provide the law enforcement officer with a written notice informing the officer of the specific nature of the investigation, the officer's status in the investigation, all known allegations of misconduct that are the reason for the interview and the officer's right to have a representative present at the interview.
